Saye
Terms of Service
Effective 22 August 2026
By using Saye, you agree to these terms.
What Saye is
Saye lets you send someone a letter, written to their first name. Recipients can read and reply anonymously.
Who can use Saye
Saye is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use Saye, in the app or on the web. By using Saye, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We may suspend or remove any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.
Where your letters appear
Saye is a public place. A letter you write (its words, the first name it is addressed to, and its scene) can be read by others both in the app and on the web at saye.social, without anyone needing an account. It is always anonymous: your name and contact details are never attached to a letter unless you choose to reveal them. By using Saye, you consent to your letters being displayed and readable on the web and in the app in this way.
You stay in control of your letters. You can remove any letter at any time from the app, and it will be taken down from both the app and the web. Copies that other people saved, or that search engines cached, may persist outside our control.
Using Saye responsibly
Saye is for words meant kindly. You agree not to use it to harass, threaten, deceive, impersonate, or send unlawful, hateful, or abusive content, and not to message anyone who does not want to hear from you. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Child safety
Saye has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Saye is for adults only, and any content or conduct that sexualizes or endangers a minor is prohibited. Report it to hello@saye.social. When we become aware of such material, we remove it, end the account responsible, and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
Paid features
Some features may be offered as a paid subscription. Any billing, renewal, and cancellation is handled by your app store under its own terms.
No warranties
Saye is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saye is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.
Ending use
You can stop using Saye and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
